SUNDAY MORNINGS

Expectations: On a Sunday morning you will find some friendly people waiting to greet you as you come in the door, who would be glad to answer any questions and help you become familiar with our morning activities. We print a Worship Bulletin each week, which contains our order of worship plus a number of announcements and opportunities for ministry. A greeter will give you one as you enter our worship space. You will find the atmosphere here to be "come as you are." Many people wear comfortable casual clothing (i.e. jeans and a sweater), while some prefer more formal attire (dresses or suits). Our hope is that you will feel welcome and valued in our community.
Our worship service contains elements like:
- Prayer
- Interacting with God's Story (scripture readings; teachings; singing)
- Music (congregational singing with traditional and modern music; vocal & instrumental)
- Responding (personal sharing; encouragement; offering)
- Children's Time
- Congregational participation
- We value Christian practices as a way of connecting our worship and witness. We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month, as well as participating in practices like Baptism, Child Dedications, Footwashing, and Fellowship Meals at various times throughout the year.
