Autism/Sensory Station: To support our families in worshiping together, at the back of the sanctuary there is a blue box with a variety of sensory items available for use (squish balls, play doh, fidget items, sensory cushions). We also have a growing autism and disability resource section in our church library, including info about local autism support agencies.

Expectations: On a Sunday morning you will find some friendly people waiting to greet you as you come in the door, who would be glad to answer any questions and help you become familiar with our morning activities. A greeter will provide you with a worship Bulletin containing an order of worship, announcements, and opportunities for ministry. You will find the atmosphere here to be "come as you are." Our hope is that you will feel welcome and valued in our community.

Our worship service contains elements like:

  • Prayer
  • Reflecting on God's Story (scripture readings; teachings; singing)
  • Music (congregational singing with traditional and modern music; vocal & instrumental)
  • Intergenerational participation: we hope for this time to be one where people of all ages can interact with one another as we worship, through personal sharing, encouragement, offerings, prayer stations, children's time, etc.
  • We value Christian practices as a way of connecting our worship and witness. We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month, as well as participating in practices like Baptism, Child Dedications, Footwashing, Stations of the Cross, and Fellowship Meals at various times throughout the year.

TABLE CHURCH happens on the third Sunday of the month (at 9:45am). We each bring a brunch type of food to share (pot luck), and meet around tables in the fellowship room to eat, pray, share, laugh, and reflect on a Bible story. All generations together. It is a way we choose to demonstrate Jesus' table practices and connect with worship practices of earlier Christians (Acts 2:42). Join us at the Table!
